[Akihiko is quiet for a moment, figuring out how to tell it without also giving too much away. Hmmmmm...]

The gist of it is that a friend once got a deadly injury. If he wasn't dead right away, then he was right on the verge of it. But someone important to him saved him. She gave her life, to bring him back -- one life given out of love to save another.

[He can't go revealing the S.E.E.S activities too much, nor the existence of the supernatural excessively, but...yes, this is good enough for what he meant to say, he thinks. Maybe he's not entirely right that this was someone brought from the dead, but he has no doubt something irreversible was miraculously reverted that night]

So maybe there's a chance here. I have never seen again something like that, but if it happened once, why can't it happen twice?

[Or thirty-something times. Preferably without someone sacrificing themselves]
