Rise and shine, precious angels. Well. The world feels a little—wait, what was that? For those of you who are early risers, you will feel a split-second nauseating shift, the world around you moving in a slow, rolling wave before it settles again almost as if it never happened.

It's another beautiful day here in Heaven. While it's understandable you may be a little shy about leaving the comfort and safety of your rooms (or wherever you're staying), there's no time like the present. You know today's a big day. Your friends will be coming from the other side soon. Isn't it time to get up and prepare for their arrival? It may be a bit difficult to get out of bed though, as your little Chao tracks you down to give you a big, warm hug.

Oh. Emphasis on warm, actually. You feel something stir in your chest as you hold your Chao, and it's like something dormant unlocks inside of you. From this moment forward, you will feel as though powers you had before your death are slowly returning to you. Thanks to the bonding activities you've done with one another, and the changes in your Chao, your soul has settled even further into this place. While there may be some powers you are unable to use still, isn't it nice to have some of your own strength back?

Everything around the neighborhood looks pretty nice. The clothing store's specials seem to rotate throughout the day, and that accursed apple tree has settled into a normal tree stump. And lastly... stand still long enough and you’ll hear the sound of the train in the distance. Hop aboard and check it out!

But um... it seems that taking the train to any of the previous islands leads you somewhere nearly unfamiliar. No matter which stop you choose to visit, everything around you appears to be in some sort of disorder, falling apart and changed for the worse. What happened to your little slice of paradise? Someone must be unhappy.

And that's fine. Nothing seems dangerous despite the disjointed appearance of each island. You have your powers, you have each other, and you have the ability to control where you're walking now that the doors aren't throwing you across the different islands. But the thing is... that isn't all you have either. As you proceed through the week, you'll find yourself experiencing all sorts of familiar sensations: affection, transformation, timewarping, memorysharing, emotionsharing, loss, thought, dream, and imaginationsharing.

Oh. Oh god, no. This could get very, very messy very quickly. Hm. Well. Good luck!

But this provides a good chance to see just how you may have grown, doesn’t it? ... Doesn't it? Maybe don’t think too hard about that, actually.

✨ Weekly Effect

This week is Everything! Congratulations, what a mess! Over the course of the week, characters will be able to experience all of the previous week's effects either by themselves or in combinations as you'd like them to come (i.e. thoughtshare with emotionshare, affection with timewarping, etc.) All of the original rules apply to these effects, so please be sure to revisit the previous mingles if you need clarification.

Be sure to stop by and check out the weekly specials at The Confessional! While the bartender may not always be there to serve you, simply approaching the bar and asking will ensure you receive your drink in a timely fashion. This week, all drinks are placed on a special secret menu, available on tap for whoever asks rather than publicized. (Hey, maybe some of you don't want to be reminded of your death.) Here's this week's menu.

😇 Mod Notes

• You all have your powers back! Please be reasonable and do not blow up our game or try to break obvious game mechanics. The level of your powers is also dependent on your Chao's growth! If you participated and received rewards for 3/4 mini events, for instance, your powers will be at 75%. We leave interpreting your own powers and their levels to your discretion, but if you have questions, feel free to DM your mods at any time!

• The Neighborhood remains as it always has: no one is cleaning up after you but you. Remember to track the Status Changes toplevel to stay up to date!

• As always, Chipper posts on the mingle are public! Players may post their own Cheeps either in their own toplevels or to the Chipper toplevel. Have a fun public poll to get you started!

• Characters will not know what the drink or food effects are without trying them ICly! The description of the effect is OOC knowledge. Confessional Drink effects last 1-3 hours, depending on what's funniest to you. Effect behavior is open to your interpretation (well there aren't drinks but i think you're all clever enough to get slutty with the weekly effect stack-up.), but if you have questions, hit us up in the mod questions channel or your mod dm!

• General Reminders: No more murder proposals!!! NO MORE!!!! Mini-cyoa sign-ups are still open. There will not be a Mini-Event this week on Wednesday, however as it is endgame week, things will be happening! Turn in your PCs under the appropriate toplevel!

In that strange Inbetween place we saw the regular version of Heaven in the cubes, and cats were in there as they normally are.

So we are merely deprived of their company, and they are safe and sound. I will take this hardship for that I suppose.

Our theory about the entity being tied to the hells seems to be borne out.

That is certainly the combination, but does give more information regarding the entity itself while it isn't in a form that is more concrete.
