I have travelled to other planes both in my dreams and waking. I simply have not heard it called the Fade before. But it does not sound dissimilar to the Shadowfell or the astral sea.
I'm sure a cloister education has its limits, too, but I know enough. When I say magic is divine, I do not mean it in the sense you do. My power is granted to me by my goddess. It is not the same as the arcane power wielded by wizards and sorcerers, even if that power is the domain of a goddess too.

Believe what you will, but Chantry law defines us all the same regardless, and they are the ones enforcing their will on us. We can argue magic origin theory until we are blue in the face, but it won't make us any less mages, and it won't make us any more free.
